Black Horse

Horse: stamina, mobility

The horse shows up in almost every mythological writing, folklore, and reality. There is the mighty winged Pegasus, the eight-legged horse of the Norse god Odin, the stallions of the Hindu sun god, the stallions of Apollo, and so on. Many legends speak of the horse as being clairvoyant and able to perceive humans with magical powers. No single animal has given man the physical freedom of movement as the horse. If you are drawn to Horse, you feel a power in your spirit that is sometimes difficult to control. Horse is a symbol of loyalty and devotion, of unquestioning love and faith in his master. He says that you love to travel, and have more than a touch of gypsy in your soul. Horse is also your warrior spirit - the brave fighter who brings you safety in your journeys, both physical and metaphysical. Horse's medicine includes power, stamina, endurance, faithfulness, freedom to run free, control of the environment, awareness of power achieved with true cooperation, interspecies communication, expanding one's own potential abilities, friendship and cooperation, travel, astral travel, guardian of travelers, warns of possible danger, guide to overcoming obstacles.

Horse -Represents freedom, power, stamina, speed, transportation and communication. A black horse with a white marking on its forehead is lucky. The horse will teach you to communicate with other realms as well as this one. It is the message carrier. The horse symbolizes freedom and the power that comes with being free. It is known for strength, the need for freedom, and independence. When personal relationships become too confining the horse will buck.

Hummingbird - Messenger, stopper of time, optimism, sweetness.

Hummingbird: messenger, timelessness

Hummingbird - the tiniest of all birds - brings special messages for us. It is the only creature that can stop dead while traveling at full speed. It can hover, or can go forward, backward, up or down. It lives on nectar and searches for the sweetness of life. Its long tongue lets it bypass the often tough and bitter outer layer to find the hidden treasures underneath. Hummingbird is loved by the flowers and plants, for as it sucks the nectar from the flower, the plant reproduces and more of its kind are created. In many traditions, Hummingbird feathers have been prized for their almost magical qualities. It is said that Hummingbird brings love as no other medicine can, and its presence brings joy to the observer.

A Totem can also be associated with an individual. It can be a persons guardian spirit. Those who believe in Totems, believe that a Hummingbird as an Animal Totem:

Has the Ability to heal by using light as a laser from it's mouth
Has Endurance for long journeys
Has the Ability to fly into small places to heal
Brings Joy
Brings Happiness
And brings Love

One of the widespread beliefs is that hummingbirds, in some way, are messengers between worlds. As such they help medicine people keep nature and spirit in balance. The Cochti have a story about ancient people who lost faith in the Great Mother. In anger, she deprived them of rain for four years. The people noticed that the only creature who thrived during this drought was Hummingbird. When they studies his habits, the shamans learned that Hummingbird had a secret passageway to the underworld. Periodically, he went there to gather honey. Further study revealed that this doorway was open to Hummingbird alone because he had never lost faith in the Great Mother. This information inspired the people to regain faith. After that the Great Mother took care of them.

If you have Hummingbird medicine, you adapt easily to whatever situation you may find yourself in, and make the most of your new circumstances. You don't waste time looking back and wishing for "what was" for you are concerned with making the most of "what is". Also, you could never become addicted to any artificial stimulants, for you find joy in your own heart. You take great pleasure in spreading joy and love and beauty to all around you, and have the gift of taking that inner joy into new and different surroundings. You have a talent for finding the good in people, and are not put off by a gruff or abrupt exterior, for you know that, if you can only get beyond that tough outside layer, you'll find goodness and beauty inside. You may have a gift for working with flowers, maybe growing them to share with others, or using flower essences for healing. Aroma therapy may be your calling. You have high energy and a spirit that must be free. To restrict that wonderful, free, loving energy is to suffer great depressions and feelings of uselessness. Hummingbird must fly free in search of beauty, spreading joy and love to all it touches.

"Let your boat of life be light, packed with only what you need - a homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends, worth the name, someone to love and someone to love you, a cat, a dog, and a pipe or two, enough to eat and enough to wear, and a little more than enough to drink; for thirst is a dangerous thing." from Three Men in a Boat (to Say nothing of the Dog), Jerome K.

Tijna n me went in Camden town the other day. We have our future read in tarot cards.
That was quite an interesting experience. The gipsy said I was in a middle of a healing process and had 6 more months to completely recover but I was doing everything just right. She said when I get rid of all the old, unhealthy beliefs, thoughts i can be reborn - I no longer a princess, but the queen. I ought to allow myself to do what I want regardless of what the other people are thinking. In about one year time I`ll meet someone - someone important, a partner who by challenging me is going to help me to recover and develop. Artistic and creative route is definitely a right one for me. She asked me about acting and music - playing a musical instrument would help me too. I`m thinking - a guitar.
She also seen my humming birds - she said they were picking my shoulder - I found it amazing.
In my past life, in 18th century I was a noble man who wasted his life - he did drugs, played cards, lived only relying on his looks and died young. Beginning of the 20th century I was a nurse in a military hospital, I devoted my life caring for wounded soldiers during the war. During my first life I was a lord`s first child considered to inherit everything but because I was a sickly child I`d never been able to come to my full power. Who cared for me - my sister, she was my servant, falconer.
In her second life Tijna was - a lesbian! Living in 1930s she was a tall confident woman who didn`t give a damn about what other people think - and she was very intimidating for men. She wore black tuxedo and smoked cigares - clearly, Tijna has a lot of fun! That`s why, to keep the balance, she has to suffer now and doesn`t have luck with men. Within one to two years she should meet someone and her studies will be fine too. After she finishes her PhD "the door will be open" and she could do whatever she wants really - she`ll succeed.
Luckily our car ma debts are almost paid, we are learning from our mistakes - it`s all over :) or so the fortune teller said and I believe her.

Tijna wanted to go to a palm reader too - he was very thin, dressed in traditional Hindu clothes, with a small bird head and warm dry hands , unlike mine sweaty. He touched and patted and creased my palms and pulled my fingers and run his extremely long nails along the lines on my hand.
I shouldn`t ever smoke and loose to much weight. I am too gullible and give out too much of myself - some people can use it against me. I will be teaching one day and be in charge of others. One day I`ll be successful if I put my mind in it; I`ll be busy having two carriers, definitely creative ones. I`m going to travel a lot. My soul mate is somewhere around, however I`m not going to stay with him. The one I`m going to start a family I meet in my thirties - 30-32. I`ll have two children, may be twins, a boy and a girl. He also asked me if i danced and have a good sense of rhythm.
Tijna will meet HIM within a year and she`ll have three children. She`ll have a great career, her own business and be in charge of other people. She`ll have money and travel a lot.
Very interesting indeed. I believe that everything is going to be just fine. I felt very positive afterwards -like I finally turned a page and started a new chapter.

I`ve got a fish! Siamese Fighting Fish.
I was really worried if he would survive the transportation coz it`s still cold outside and it took almost one hour to get home. But luckily he`s fine and swimming in the tank happily. I mean I don`t really know if he`s happy or no, does a fish has emotions?
I decided to get a fish coz I`m -unfortunately- allergic to cats and dogs (howling). I know you can`t cuddle a fish but it`s nice to know there`s something alive in our home :)
Maybe it`s crazy but I think we should name it. Hmmm...
Bob? John? Socrat? LOL
Ok, I have to think about it...

My sis & me decided to travel trough Europe - in August.
We haven`t worked out the route yet, but it`s going to be laid- back back-packing kind of thing with out clear defined plan. It`s very exiting and a bit scary - we`ve never done anything like that. I feel like an adult - I`m going to earn our travel money for next 4 months - working real hard so we can see more of the Europe - Paris, Munich and Vienna on the list so far.
